A winding stair with a bent handrail, stained oak treads, and raised-panel wainscot following the curve.

The project
Curved stairs leave no room for shortcuts. The handrail was laminated and shaped to follow the turn without a visible break, and each baluster was set to match the changing pitch.
The paneled wainscot climbs alongside the stair, with every panel laid out so the proportions stay consistent all the way up.
